Two or three paragraphs on gratitude, job you wish, good you will do for party and country...
Colleagues, friends, and family I thank you all for letting me have the chance to be here with you today. Running for president, I am honored to be standing in front of you. Thank you to all who supported me through the good and bad times but with all your support and understanding it has given me the strength to keep fighting. Running for president is not the easiest, but I am here today because I want a better tomorrow for America. I want to be living the “American Dream.” As a Republican I believe the principles of the party should be based upon the precepts laid down by the founders of the United States Constitution and the Bill of Rights. I believe that a good government is based on the individual and that each person’s ability, dignity, freedom and encouragement of individual initiative and incentive have given the United States an economic system unappalled in history. I further believe that Americans should value and preserve their desire for peace and freedom and the extension of human rights throughout the world. Lincoln expressed the philosophy of the Republican Party with these words “to do for a community of people whatever they need to have done, but cannot do at all, or cannot so well do, for themselves, in their individual capacities. In all that people can individually do as well for themselves, government ought not to interfere.” As you all know I wish to be the President of the United States. I wish to help our country prosper and grow. I hope that if elected I can be the leader that the people want. I wish to represent the people. I hope to help and make changes in our economy, security, healthcare, education, and immigration.
I want to assure you that together we can change America for the better. We can make our economy better. We can help America’s economy grow and have better wages and opportunities. We can have better security. We can have a strong military that keeps our borders safe. We can make healthcare better. We can have a better healthcare system that has patients and doctors in charge. We can help education. We can offer equal education. We can have a better immigration system. We can have an immigration system that upholds the law, secures our borders, and boosts the economy. We are Ameri-CAN, not Ameri-Can’t. I want to bring equal opportunity to all Americans. We can do this by making our economy stronger, our security stronger, and our society stronger. We can achieve this by letting the people as a whole have more power. The people can have a say in what they want to change in America. We can do this. America can do this. Together we can make America a better place.
In recent years there has been an almost unparalleled focus on the instability of our foreign allies across the Atlantic when the direst situation of all is here in our own backyard. America has fallen from the pedestal on which it once stood while we have become blind to our own domestic issues. That, however, does not mean we can’t come together as a nation and rise to the occasion. Therefore, if elected, my administration and I will roll up our sleeves and tackle the issues the current administration has been to afraid to face head on. First we will take on the beast that is poverty. In order to do this correctly though we must end this vicious cycle by focusing first on children currently in poverty. We need to revamp the way in which these children are taught by removing as many of the factors that limit their success as possible. Lastly is the ever-looming unemployment rate. I believe that the best way to create millions of jobs and revitalize the economy is to provide the green energy market with government funding and incentivize the use of green energy, such as solar panels, thus causing the expansion of the industry which will be supported by hard working Americans. If this plan is implemented I believe that poverty will become a thing of the past. Even so, we cannot become complacent and let our guard down. We must remain proactive in our efforts, which is why this is only the beginning of the good we will do if I am elected. Once again I would like to thank you all for coming out today and showing your support of my campaign.
Presidential Debate October 14, 2014
In the recent presidential debate the presidential candidates expressed their views on the United States defense policy, energy policy, a president’s integrity and abortion. The Democrat party was represented by Spencer, the Republican Party was represented by Justin, and the Green Party was represented by Joseph. The democrat party had appalling views on abortion. They claimed that women can choose to kill their baby. This does not only kill the baby but can hurt the woman carrying the baby. Republican candidate Justin agreed that women can be hurt by abortion and that abortion should be illegal in the United States.
On another note Joseph stated that “Government can’t say whether something is right or wrong.” This is an invalid argument considering that the Constitution spells out what is right or wrong and was written out by our founding fathers. The founding fathers wrote our constitution to have order for our nation and is the longest lasting constitution in history. The Green party is essentially saying to throw away our foundation. Justin stated that as president he will uphold the Constitution and our amendment rights.
Spencer brought up the topic of global warming and talked about an ice age in regards to the energy policy. This was just to disillusion voters and make the democrat view on our energy problem sound as if we could blame our energy crisis on theories that have no solid evidence. Not every American thinks that global warming is real or that an ice age ever occurred so to use this as evidence is just sad. A theory is not solid proven evidence so it cannot be used to try and fix our energy policy.
Lastly both Spencer and Joseph had the same view on our defense policy. They believed that we should have no violence. They believe that our military should not be involved in other countries. Justin argued that our military needs to be involved to protect our countries from terrorists attacks because we don’t want another attack to happen like 9/11.
